The big small business dreams are the foundation of every new venture. However, once youāre actually in business, you sometimes get so busy with the small, day-to-day stuff that itās hard to make the big things happen.
Hereās how to lay out a plan for your dream businessāand hold yourself accountable for it-
Step 1: Set a day for planning.
Depending on your business, this could involve just you or your entire team. The goal is to assess whether you are ready for your business or where exactly your business is now and identify those ābig small business dreamsā you want to accomplish.
The trick here is to believe that your dream is big enough and achievable, even though it might seem a bit far-fetched, and as Rohita from our Homepreneurs Club mentions:

Step 2: Conduct an analysis to understand your dream business.
Scaling a business can be challenging, adventurous, scary, and exciting all at once! Make sure you understand the market and assess your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and goals accordingly.

Dreaming is important in business, in fact, it’s the foundation!
When it comes to business, dreaming is the biggest motivator an entrepreneur can cultivateādreaming of a better world, for themselves, their team, and the community. Itās one of the greatest sources of motivation for any entrepreneur.
An entrepreneur who stops dreaming is just operating on autopilot. You have to keep dreaming big. Find a dream that stimulates you, sparks your passions, and makes you want to get up in the morning. If you have that, your life has meaning.

Finding a like-minded community of entrepreneurs at Homepreneur’s Club worked in favour of Pamela’s dream of becoming an entrepreneur and taking her business to a new height!
Step 4: Align your big dreams and vision with intermediate goals and action steps.
For example, if you want to increase sales by the end of the year, you might have an intermediate goal of increasing sales in the first quarter, a bit more in the second quarter, and so on. In order to accomplish these goals, you may need to take certain actions, such as adjusting sales quotas or taking additional sales training.
A dream canāt come true if you don’t take an action towards it. Simply nurturing it in secret doesn’t work. If you dream of leading a healthy lifestyle but never working out, itāll never happen. You have to put a plan into action. Itās the same thing with business. To reach your dream, you have to work every day to make it a reality.

“My dream is to have fun creating made-to-order, limited party products that are priced well for all without compromising on quality. I am taking mini steps to move to a system in the future where I can work in an almost automated mode. Homepreneurs is helping me with being a pillar of strength. Helps me recognize my mistakes. One of which was learning to let go-Its so very hard. Itās the biggest wealth that I have in todayās time. To fail and get up where I can bounce back constantly is not something that everyone can be lucky with. I have been having fun and I will never give that aspect up. Step 5: Develop a timeline to make your small business dreams come true and start delegating.
You canāt do everything at once, so prioritize the goals youāve set and assign calendar deadlines for accomplishing each action item. This will help hold you and your team accountable in the coming year. Have an in-house or remote team of like-minded individuals who believe in your dreams, visions, and goals.
